Offered in this lot is a J. Stevens A. & T. CO. Favorite rifle, chambered in .22 Long Rifle. This rifle originates from circa 1894-1916. The firearm has a 24" partial octagon barrel, and displays a fine blue'd finish, with nice walnut grips, and stock. The rifle is marked twice on the barrel, reading; "22 L.R." on the left portion, and "J. Stevens A. & T. CO. - Chicopee Falls, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. APR.17.94." on the right. The lower-tang is marked with the serial number. Lastly, the firearm has a crescent metal butt plate. This beautiful rifle shows good condition overall. The lower tang and barrel show matching serial number: 47715. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
