Featured in this lot we have a Stevens rolling block single shot rifle chambered in .32 Long caliber. This rifle was manufactured in the early 1900's by Remington with its design closely related to the Browning 22. This rifle displays a 22"" long round barrel with the back third showing octagonal design, walnut stock and front grip, rolling block lever action, adjustable rear sight with fixed front sight, and take down pin with D ring. The barrel features a blue'd finish with the frame showing a case hardened finish. The left side of the barrel is marked "32-LONG" with the right side marked "J. STEVENS A & T, CO, CHICOPEE FALLS. MASS, U.S.A. PAT. APR.17. 94". The mechanically the rifle shows good working condition with a smooth rolling block action and crisp trigger. The rifle shows a take down screw allowing the rifle to be broken down into two primary parts allowing for easier storage or travel with a sling point D ring integrated with the screw. The rifle shows good condition overall with some light wear due to age and handling with the stock showing some separation from the tang and light cracks with the stock possibly being a replacement part.
