For your consideration are a leather bound Stoddard's Lectures Complete Collection, 1897. This collection is comprised of volumes I-X and includes three additional volumes; Canada, Ireland, and South Tyrol. These are published by Balch Brother Co MCMV, and copyright by John L. Stoddard 1897. John Lawson Stoddard was an American writer and lecturer known for his travel writings, published as 'Stoddard's Lectures'. This set is bound in genuine leather with decorative gold gilt on the spines, and includes full color and black and white illustratations. These are heavy books, printed on thick paper. John L. Stoddard's lectures include v. I. Norway. Switzerland. Athens. Venice. v. II. Constantinople. Jerusalem. Egypt. v. III Japan (two lectures). China. v. IV India (two lectures). The Passion play. v. V Paris. La belle France. Spain. v. VI Berlin. Vienna. St. Petersburg. Moscow. v. VII The Rhine. Belgium. Holland. Mexico. v. VIII. Florence. Naples. Rome. v. IX. Scotland. England. London. v. X. Southern California. Grand cañon of the Colorado River. Yellowstone National Park; as well as the three additional volumes. This collection is in good condition overall, and take up approximately 14 inches of shelf space, and each book measures 9 1/4 x 6 1/4.
