Featured in this lot is this framed, hand-embellished lithograph titled, "Morning Glory Cottage" originally painted by Thomas Kinkade (1958-2012) circa late 20th century, reproduced by Lightpost Publishing as a hand-embellished lithograph. William Thomas Kinkade III was an American painter of popular realistic, pastoral, and idyllic subjects. He is notable for achieving success during his lifetime with the mass marketing of his work as printed reproductions and other licensed products by means of the Thomas Kinkade Company. This lithograph shows a small cottage tucked in the forest as sunlight breaks through the wooded area casting spots of light on the cottage. Kinkade gives his paintings an ethereal and dreamy look with the techniques he uses, giving light sources a glowing look. It is signed in the bottom right hand corner reading, "Thomas Kinkade John 3:16 ©" in red lettering. It is professionally framed in a beautiful, dark wood frame with floral designs in the corners. The back reads, "this canvas lithograph was hand crafted and hand stretched and meets Lightpost Publishing's highest standards of quality / Hand highlighted by skilled artisans under the supervision of Thomas Kinkade". The piece shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage noted. The visible art measures 15 1/2" L x 19 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 24 1/4" L x 28 1/8" W x 2 1/2" D. It has a total weight of 8 pounds and 12 ounces.
