Featured in this lot is this hand stamped set of Navajo Native American, Tommy & Rose Singer sterling silver, 14K gold and turquoise earrings. Singer is thought to be one of the most important and greatest contemporary silversmith Indian artists and his work is highly sought after. Tommy Singer was a Navajo silversmith who passed away on May 31, 2014. After his death, his wife, Rose, continued to create jewelry using designs Singer created prior to his passing. These earrings feature a highly detailed stamped design across the face, showing a sterling silver construction with 14K gold overlay of a running horse, a southwestern pattern, and a single turquoise gemstone. The earrings are stamped with T&R Singer maker’s marks and “Sterling”. The condition of this pair of earrings is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these earrings are 2 1/2" x 1 3/8". The collective weight of the earrings is 14.5g.
