Available in this lot is a pair of signed Thomas Singer, Navajo Native American sterling silver and Sleeping Beauty turquoise earrings. Tommy Singer was a world famous Navajo silversmith and his distinct style of Indian Jewelry is recognized the world over. Tommy was a silversmith for over 50 years. He learned the art of being a silversmith from his father when he was just 7 years old. His father, Tsinnigine Hathali, was a Navajo Medicine man. Singer is thought to be one of the most important and greatest contemporary silversmith Indian artists and his work is highly sought after. The pieces show sterling silver construction with hand tooled geometric patterns across the exteriors. On each earring there is a cabochon of Sleeping Beauty turquoise set into a shadowbox design. The back of the piece is signed "T Singer". The pair shows good condition overall, with little to no wear. Each earring measures 2 1/2" by 1 1/4".
