Featured in this lot is a small collection of six books covering topics on the lives of mountain men, and cowboys. The collection consists of a signed hardbound first edition of "Mountain Man" by Verne Bright, numbered 335/500, a 1928 pressing of "Jinglebob - A True Story of a Real Cowboy" by Philip Ashton Rollins, a first edition issue of "Siskiyou Trail - The Hudson's Bay Fur Company Route to California" by Richard Dillon, a 1964 first edition copy of William Henry Jackson - Pioneer Photographer of the West" by Aylesa Forsee, a 1967 issue of "13 Flat - The Rodeo, Horse and Riders" by William H. Porter, and lastly, a 1947 first edition issue of Picture Maker of the Old West by William H. Jackson. Overall, the collection shows good condition, five of the six books have their original dust jackets, while four of those five have additional mylar protective sleeves. The largest book is "Picture Maker of the West", which measures 12 1/8" x 9 1/2" x 1".
