Offered for sale in this lot is a beautiful set of natural Tanzanite solitaire stud earrings set in 14K gold. The earrings show two wonderfully matched oval brilliant cut natural Tanzanite stones being four prong set with a nice violet blue coloring, beautiful depth, pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles) and good eye clean clarity. Overall the two stones have a weight of 4.73 carats. The Tanzanite is a very rare precious gemstone found only in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. The 14 karat white gold studs have a gold weight of 2.12 grams. These are brand-new in pristine condition.
