Featured in this lot is this Tanzanite and diamond 14k white gold bracelet with GGA paperwork. The bracelet features a wonderfully and professionally crafted 14k white gold construction. The bracelet features a total of 17 oval brilliant cut tanzanite gemstones with measurements of 10.1 x 4.00mm and is considered type I and shows bluish violet coloration with a total weight of 17.05 carats. The tanzanite gemstones are decorated with a total of 153 round brilliant cut diamonds with measurements of 1.5 x 1.2mm and clarity of SI2 - I1 and a coloration of of G - H and a total weight of 2.57 carats. Tanzanite is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. It was originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company, who named the stone Tanzanite. This example is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). The piece comes complete with GGA(GemAssure Gemological Appraisals, GGA Appraisal Number#: GGA064272 and trace number: BR007704) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $25,680.00.
