This is an excellent handwoven flat weave large rug by master weaver Enrique Ruiz using 100% soft fine handspun wool in an outstanding Tees Miel pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using 100% locally handspun wool yarn that offers natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. Tight handwoven weave displayed with bold colors in the extremely detailed Tees Miel pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Enrique Ruiz. This bold and beautiful rug shows a fantastic marriage between traditions, showing a rich Navajo Teec Nos Pos styling with a Zapotec Oaxaca Indian bright color and immensely detailed flair. This example shows a heathered tan background with traditional Tees emblems infused with lively coloration having a decorative bold border. The piece is in brand new condition with fine tight weave and unique multi-colored braided ends. The nice large rug measures 5’ by 8’ (5 foot by 8 foot). This is a contemporary rug hand woven by Enrique Ruiz, a Zapotec Indian from a small weaving village, in amazing natural dyes and wool showing a nice large size.
