Featured in this lot is is the classic, "Ten Years a Cowboy", by Charles Clement Post, 1898, Rhodes & McClure Publishing Company. This is the second cowboy autobiography ever published - a story of the romance and adventures of a life on the plains with the varied experiences as cowboy, stock-owner, and rancher during one of the most captivating era's of American history: the Wild West. The book contains numerous stories from across the West, covering the general topics of The Plains, Cattle, and Sheep. The book contains numerous black and white and colour illustrations throughout. This green cloth silver gilt stamped illustrated hardcover is in good overall condition, scuffing and staining noted on cover, loose spine, age tanning and foxing to intact pages. Measures 5.25"W x 7.875"L x 1.25"D, weight 1lb, 6oz.
