This is a first edition hard bound book titled The Boys of '76 and authored by Charles Carleton Coffin. The book is from circa 1876 from the publisher Harper & Brothers Publishers Franklin Square in New York. The book tells the story of the Battles fought during the American Revolutionary War and shows various etching illustrations throughout. The book is similar to the book by the same author, titled "The Boys of '61" which told the unique story of the Civil War from the beginning to surrender of General Lee. The books shows a wonderful pictorial gilt and black lettered hard cover which presents very well and overall the book appears to be in fair condition as the cover has separated from the binding. Measures overall 7"W x 9.25"L x 1 1/8" Thick.
