The green cloth bound gold gilt stamped illustrated hardcover is in good preserved condition, slight scuffing noted on cover edges, boards loose at spine. Gold gilt still bright, front and rear covers stamped illustration with landscape vignette and figurals of deer, steam powered locomotive, Native American hunting, miners and early California state motto/seal, "Eureka".
