For bidding in this lot is a complete two volume set of The Great Rebellion by J.T. Headley. The books were published in 1863 by Hurlbut, Williams and Company. Each book discusses topics related to the American Civil War, and each have numerous plate transfer images. The books show good condition overall, though they appear to be re-bound. The books are approximately the same size - Volume 1 measures 9 1/4" tall, 6" wide, and 2" thick.
