For your bidding pleasure is this copy of “The Life of Crockett”, Alta Edition, by Ellis, 1884. The "Alta Editions" were published by a group called Coates and Porter, who were from Philadelphia. The book chronicles the life and adventures of the scout, hunter, woodsman, and congressman. The book has a wonderfully decorated cover and shows good condition. The book measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 1".
