This is an intimate pen picture of Wild Bill Hickok and is a story about his life and recorded in style. A biography of James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickok, from Civil War days, to the McCanles fight, Marshall in Hays City, and Abiline, with Buffalo Bill Cody and his Wild West Show, Calamity Jane, and finally the infamous poker game in Deadwood.This book is in overall good condition, the illustrated plastic wrapped paper dust jacket is in good condition as well. Original illustrated red cloth bound cover is in near new condition with no scuffing noted, tight spine. Intact pages exhibit age tanning, no foxing noted. Measures 5.75"W x 8"L x 1.25"D, weight 1lb, 6oz.
