For your consideration is The Rough Riders by Theodore Roosevelt first edition circa 1899. This book gives a detailed account of Teddy Roosevelt and the role his Rough Riders played in Cuba when he famously charge San Juan Hill. This first edition book was published by Charles Scbribner's Sons in 1899. The book has the original green cloth cover but the binding has been redone as it seen a lot of use during its tenure in the Hearst Free Library in Anaconda, MT. The book is in fair condition and measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
