Included for sale in this lot is an original two volume set of "The Soldier of our Civil War", published in 1890 by Stanley Bradley Publishing Company, out of New York, New York. Each of the large books are hard bound, and feature beautifully gilted covers. The books are each profusely illustrated, depicting battle scenes, prominent military figures, presidents, forts, and much, much more! Overall, the books show good condition for age - Volume 1 shows more wear to the text block. Each book measures 17" tall, 12 1/4" wide, and 1 3/8" thick.
