Included in this lot is an early 1904 edition of Owen Wister's "The Virginian". “The Virginian” is considered one of the first true western fictional novels. The book follows a lone cowboy on his adventures. The piece contains numerous black and white illustrations by Arthur I. Keller throughout the book. The cover shows a red cloth cover with silver lettering across the front. The book shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the cover. The piece measures 7 3/4" tall by 5 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
