Featured in this lot is this illustrated hardcover copy of “The Yellowstone National Park Historical and Descriptive” by Hiram Chittenden. This is a fourth edition, revised and enlarged from 1903. The book features a comprehensive description of Yellowstone with its wildlife and vegetation. It contains numerous maps and illustrations, including a fold out map inside the back cover. The piece shows a green cover with gilt gold lettering on the cover and along the spine. The condition of this book is fair, with slight wear to the cover and spine of the book and slight browning to the pages. The measurements of this book are 7 7/8" x 5 5/8" x 1 1/4".
