This is an excellent hand woven flat weave rug by master weaver, Pedro Sosa. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine, hand spun wool yarns in a beautiful Third Phase Chief Blanket Crystal pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% hand spun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, hand woven weave, displayed with natural fleece tones, is in the fine Third Phase Chief Blanket Crystal pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Pedro Sosa. This rug shows iconic Zapotec design with thick, symmetrical Third Phase Chief Blanket Crystal design and crystal decorated pueblo design set between bands of decorated stripes and waves of geometric designs. The rug features colors of black and heathered white on a red field with lightening crystal decoration. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a fine, tight weave. The rug measures 2.5’ by 5’ (2 foot 5 inches by 5 foot). This is a brand new rug.
