In this lot is a unique rustic low table in the Thomas Molesworth style. The striking part of this table is into the top of the table are two hand carved and painted Rainbow Trout. These trout are done in a style common to the 1950's The trout are each apx. 28" long. The top of the table is then made smooth by a resin finish. The other noteworthy thing about this table are the small 1 3/4" pieces of branch with bark, attached to the side all around the top of the table. This table is possibly a refurbished Molesworth by the Sweet Water Co.14 years after the death of Thomas Molesworth, Lloyd Taggart established the Sweet Water Ranch in Cody, Wyoming. The company was dedicated to restoring original Molesworth furniture and building additional pieces. Later that business was renamed for the now owner, Lloyd Taggart's son Marc Taggart & Co. The table measures 43" X 31" X 18"tall. This table will be a great addition to your home or cabin.
