For your consideration is this three piece set of white and red Kanawha Porcelain Enamelware circa 1930-1950s. Fletcher Enamel Company is one of the many important industries which came into the Kanawha Valley in Dunbar, West Virginia after the tapping of the rich natural gas fields of this region. The original Fletcher plant was at Anderson, Indiana and ran from 1909 to 1914. The plant in Dunbar ran from 1916 till it closed in 1958. This first piece in this set is a large kettle/coffee pot with a metal wire and wood handle. The top features a white lid with a red tipped handle. The backside handle shows a red color as well. The spout is filtered with many holes and features a red colored lining around the top of the spout. There are no makers marks present. The kettle shows good condition for its vintage age with no signs of obvious damage and little to no wear present. The kettle measures a bottom diameter of 8 1/8" and a height of 9 1/2". The second piece in this collection is a large white and red Kanawha pot. It features a red tipped handle on the top of the lid, and a red painted wood handle with metal wire. The front of the pot shows the original red and yellow Kanawha sticker reading, "Kanawha Porcelain Enamelware, The Same Durable Titanium Finish Used On The Best Stoves And Refrigerators, The Fletcher Enamel Co.". The pot shows good condition with no signs of damage and little to no wear. It measures 9 3/4" diameter and 9 1/2" height. The last item in this collection is a red and white stew pot. The stew pot features a solid red colored lid and red handles on the sides. The rest of the stew pot is a solid white color. The lid features a small red handle on the top. The stew pot has no makers marks. It shows good condition with no signs of obvious damage and little to no wear. It measures 9 3/8" in diameter and 6" in height. This set is in good condition overall in good working condition.
