For your consideration is this 1899 First Edition of "Thrilling Stories of The War by Returned Hereos" by Hon. James Rankin Young and J. Hampton Moore, published by Providence Publishing Co. in Chicago, Illinois 1899. A well-illustrated account of the Spanish-American War, with color plates, numerous plates and other illustrations in black and white, with a folding map. The cover is in its original red, embossed boards with gold stamping on cover and spine. This book is in fair condition with the spine and cover showing wear from its age. Interior pages are in good condition with no signs of obvious damage and the binding is strong with the exception of the front cover and first few pages. The dimensions of this book are 9 1/4" L x 7" W x 1 3/4" D.
