Featured in this lot is this Bucking Cowboy on hide artwork from artist Till Goodan born 1896 and passed 1958 and the artwork is circa 19th century. The hide origin is unknown but features a bucking horse with a cowboy flagging the horse with his hat painted to the front of the artwork and framed in a professional frame; this is a unique piece and features construction not normally found which makes this a gem in today's art world. Originally from Colorado, Tillman Goodan, or simply Till Goodan, spent his youth as a cowboy. In his spare time, he drew pictures portraying ranch life. In 1917, he left his stint in the rodeo to pursue a career in art. The condition of this artwork is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements framed Till Goodan artwork on hide are 42 1/4" x 30 1/8" and the visible artwork measures 38 1/4" x 26 1/8". Provenance: From a Collecitno in Cody, Wyoming.
