Featured in this lot is this bear grass hand woven basket from Tlingit tribe Chilkat weaver circa 1940's. The basket features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bear grass construction that shows a loose weave with broad strands and is ended in a string handle and a semi box base. The condition of this basket is fair to good with some wear to the side walling by one of the string handles but otherwise shows fair to good overall condition. The measurements of this basket is 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 2 7/8".
