Featured in this lot is this hand woven polychrome basket from Tlingit Chilkat Tribal weavers circa 1930's. The basket features a wonderfully and professionally crafted spruce root and bear grass construction that shows a beautifully decorated polychrome design of geometric patterns along the side walling of the basket. The condition of this basket is fair with a single fissure in the weave close to the base of the basket but otherwise shows fair overall condition. The measurements of this basket is 2" x 5 1/4" x 4".
