The lot features a nice, hand woven rug / blanket showing a classic geometric “Toadlena / Two Grey Hills” pattern or style done by a Mexican weaver from the late-1900’s. The rug shows a soft wool / cotton hand woven rug with bold geometric pattern showing a black border with grey background having a stepped outer border with red / and white hooked diamond like patterns with stepped diamonds at center. Previously said to have been purchased from a weaver in Oaxaca, Mexico in the late-20th century. This rug is in good overall condition, the weave is tight, tasseled at each corner, one corner has minimal damage at the tassel. No other obvious damage noted. Measures 55"L x 28"W.
