Featured in this lot is this Tombstone, Arizona Territory found gambler's personal effects artifacts circa 19th century and were housed in the tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There is a pair of dice, one single dice, a poker chip, and pair of gambler's glasses in this collection. The first item is the gambler's cheating glasses, with cobalt glass lenses and used to see hidden marking on the cards to give one the upper hand. The second artifact is a Tombstone EXCAVATED poker chip with a horse shoe carving and comes with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Chip Found in Tombstone. The next items is a pair of carved bone dice circa 19th century. The next item is a crudely made clay baked single dice showing age and having the dots painted white. The condition of this Tombstone gamblers collection is preserved with some wear to the leather wrapped dice and discoloration to the pair of dice and the gambler glasses dont have the temple portion and the excavated poker chip is heavily warn due to exposure but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of this collection range from 5/8" x 5/8" x 5/8" to 1 5/8" x 3 3/8". The collective weight of this collection is 39.5g.
