Featured in this lot are four Tombstone Epitaph archive newspaper books from the Tombstone Epitaph in Tombstone, Arizona, 1966-1969. The first in this lot is from 1966 and features full newspapers from January 6, 1966 to December 30th, 1966. Every date in the year is not included. The newspaper archive features black & white photos and illustrations along with news articles pertaining to Tombstone, advertisements, columns on the next weeks school lunch, Tombstone Visitors and more. They are bound in marbled boards and quarter bound faux lather. The spines are marked reading, "Tombstone Epitaph / 1966 / Jan. - Dec." in gold gilt lettering. They show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. They measure 21 3/4" L x 15 3/8" W x 1 3/8" D and have a collective weight of 34 pounds and 12 ounces. Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona.
