Featured in this lot is this Tombstone pair of Harrington and Richardson handcuffs number 123 and circa early 1900's were displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This pair of handcuffs presents with their original key and their original packaging with an accompanying inspection slip. This pair of nickel plated handcuffs manufactured circa 1930-1945 were ahead of their time featuring "double-lock" functions as well as "anti-shimming" grooves cut into the bow, both of these functions severely cutting down the chance of an escape. Insert the key into the lock post and spin 90 degrees to unlock or lock the cuffs, an additional quarter turn "double-locks" the cuffs. Each handcuff is stamped "H&R Arms Company - Worcester, MASS, U.S.A. - PAT. 1,984,677" as well as a proud "MADE IN U.S.A". The condition of this pair of handcuffs is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage to the handcuffs the original box shows some slight wear consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this pair of handcuffs is 10 1/8" x 3 1/4" x 1/2". The collective weight of this pair of handcuffs is 14oz. LO32
