For your consideration are various Weldon Humphrey Sr. & Weldon Humphrey Jr. photos, paintings and come-alongs from th late 1890 to early 1900's. Weldon Humphrey Jr. owned the Morning Star Mine in the 1930s. The first piece in this lot is an unmarked set of come-alongs from a police station, likely in Tombstone in the early 1900s. The next two pieces are original drawings / watercolor paintings done by Weldon Humphrey Jr. in the early 1900s. The first shows a stone structure with a tree on the right hand side. A ladder can be seen as well as various tools on the ground. The second one shows a mountain in the background with a large cactus in the foreground. Only one is signed by the artist in pencil reading, "Weldon / Tombstone". Two photos are present and are reproduction photos of Stamping Mill near Charleston and a birds eye view of Tombstone, both reproduced from negatives owned by Weldon Humphrey. The final photo is a real photo postcard and shows a group of men at Outpost Skirmish with a smelter in the background. The back of the postcard is marked reading, "From Weldon Humphrey Jr.". The pieces show good condition overall with slight wear present from thier age and use over the years, but no signs of damage is noted. The come-along measures 11 7/8" L x 3 1/4" W x 1/2" D, the photos measure from 3 3/8" L x 5 3/8" W to 4 7/8" L x 7 1/8" W and the artwork measures 7" L x 5" W. The pieces have a collective weight of 7 ounces.
