The badge features a wonderfully and professionally crafted nickel and silver construction that shows a shield design with a five point star stamped into the center and reads as follows: Special Police. The badge is unmarked with a hallmark. It does not resemble a modern or current law enforcement badge, insignia or uniform. It is a historical piece that is 75 years old or older OR the item is defunct/obsolete OR from a now-defunct organization. This badge is obsolete. The condition of this badge is well preserved with some slight patina to the front of the shield and to the back by the welds but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this police badge is 2" x 1 3/4". The collective weight of this badge is 15.4g.
