Featured in this lot are two, solid silvered brass Tony Lama Collection "State Series" belt buckles from the late 20th century. Tony Lama Sr., a U.S. Cavalry cobbler, founded Tony Lama Boots in El Paso, Texas, in 1911. From a modest repair business, the company developed into a leading Western boot manufacturer renowned for its exotic and high-quality leathers. The company, which was eventually purchased by Justin Brands in 1990, gained international recognition for creating cowboy boots that were comfortable, long-lasting, and fashionable. The first in this lot shows the seal of Nevada and reads, "The Great Seal Of The State of Nevada / All For Our Country". The back of the buckle is marked reading, "From The Exclusive Tony Lama Collection / State Series". The second buckle shows the seal of the United States and is marked reading, "The United States of America". The back reads, "From The Exclusive Tony Lama Collection / State Series". They show good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage is noted. They measure 2 3/4" L x 3 3/4" W x 1/4" D and have a collective weight of 8 ounces.
