Offered in this lot are Vintage Tony Lama Classic Black Cowhide Western Cowboy Boots featuring a lizard skin wingtip toe accent, circa 1980s - 1990s, size 9.5 D. Displaying a narrow, tapered J-Toe silhouette characteristic of classic 1980s and 1990s styling, a traditional tall leather shaft decorated with intricate multi-row western contrast stitching and standard pull tabs and built Built with a traditional stacked western riding heel and a Goodyear welted leather outsole. Tony Lama Sr., a U.S. Cavalry cobbler, founded Tony Lama Boots in El Paso, Texas, in 1911. From a modest repair business, the company developed into a leading Western boot manufacturer renowned for its exotic and high-quality leathers. The company, which was eventually purchased by Justin Brands in 1990, gained international recognition for creating cowboy boots that were comfortable, long-lasting, and fashionable. These boots are in good overall condition, wear exhibited on heels and soles, tight stitching, lizard skin wingtips are tight. Each measures 4"W x 11.5"L x 14.75"H, combined weight in boot box is 3lb, 8oz.
