Featured in this lot is this Transitional Paleo Period artifact and point collection from the Transitional Paleo to Early Archaic period. The points are aged to 8,000 - 10,000 BP. There are a total of 42 points and two shells in this collection. The collection shows a variety of points ranging from fluted corner notched pints to small clovis fluted points, most are triangular with sharp shoulders and moderately serrated edges with a couple showing the same stature as a scraper and shows some oviod shaped points. The two shells show a cylindrical shape with pale cream coloration with some shapes of darker mineral deposits through the shell. The condition of this collection is fair with some chipping to a number of the points but otherwise the a collection features a fair overall condition. The measurements of this collection of points range from 1/2" x 3/8"
