Featured in this lot is this Transitional Paleo period variety point collection from the Transitional Paleo to Early Archaic period aged from 8,000 - 10,000 B.P. There are 15 total points in this collection. The first framed collection features a number of Mayborn Gary sub-type points that feature serrated edges and also includes some Bonham points that show triangular shape and a central Oviod napped knife point that shows a cluster formation and a large stature. The second collection features three medium size Adena blade points that shows a variety of materials for construction of chert material and flint material; and shows two flint Adena Dickerson point with a black coloration and a chert Adena Dickerson point at the bottom; The last point is a triangular stemmed Adena Robins point that is napped from a grey chert material. The condition of this collection of points is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of these frames are 1 1/8" x 6" x 8".
