For your consideration is this Treaty of Greenville medal attached to a trade bead necklace. The medal shows “E Pluribus Unum Treaty of Greenville 3rd August 1795” to commemorate the Treaty of Greenville. The medal is oblong in shape with an engraved image of an eagle with its wings spread wide and holding a banner in its beak. The eagle holds an olive branch in one talon and a cluster of arrows in the other. Rays of sunlight shine behind the eagle's head. Decorative detail is engraved around the outer edge of the medal. The same image and engravings appear on both sides. The beads are glass trade beads of red-black heart with white beads. The condition of this medal and necklace is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurement of this necklace is 31" around.
