Presented in this lot are Handcarved Tree Agate Bear Fetish Strands and a Shell Fragment Strand. Tree agate bear fetish necklaces are distinctive pieces of jewelry, typically featuring hand-carved bears in the minimalist Zuni style made from tree agate, a white or translucent quartz with green, moss-like inclusions. The bear represents strength, healing, courage, and leadership; a powerful guardian. Native American necklaces featuring shell fragments are deeply rooted in indigenous tradition, ranging from ancient archaeological artifacts to modern artisan jewelry. These strands are in very nice condition, held together by monofilament lines. Agate strands are 12"L each, shell strand is 16.5"L, combined weight isi 414.5 grams.
