Featured in this lot is this trophy size Alaskan brown bear taxidermy skull. This large brown bear skull shows a huge example with a nice dark patina. The skull has been professionally prepared by a taxidermist and displays a wonderful example of trophy size. The Alaska Peninsula brown bear or "peninsular grizzly" is a colloquial nomenclature for a brown bear that lives in the coastal regions of southern Alaska. The condition of this skull is fair with molars missing and front teeth missing, the jaw is not fused together and the skull features loose teeth but otherwise shows fair overall condition. The measurements of this skull are 5 1/2" x 13" x 7 1/2".
