Featured in this lot is a bronze sculpture called "Spirit of the West" circa 1935 by artist Truman Bolinger. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction that show a cowboy swinging a rope on horse back running at a full gallop. The bronze is marked 'Truman Bolinger' with a brand underneath and '1985' and also shows a foundry mark of a cactus next to the signature and '1/35.' The plaque on the front of the bronze is marked 'Spirit of the West - Truman Bolinger.' Truman Bolinger is an American Postwar & Contemporary sculptor who was born in 1944. Truman Bolinger's work has been offered at auction multiple times with realized prices up to $12,000. The condition of this bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage but shows some slight patina to the bronze but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze sculpture is 24 1/2" x 24" x 8 1/2". This bronze is from The March in Montana Auction House.*
