Featured in this lot is this twisted wrought iron Montana cattle branding iron circa 1890 to 1920's. The branding iron features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wrought iron construction that shows a twisted shaft. The brand itself is intricate and hard to identify per the Montana Portal online archive; so is unidentified. The brand handle has a rare twist in it. The brand its self depicts a beautiful character and is in good condition. The condition of this branding iron is well preserved with oxidation consistent with exposure but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this branding iron is 21" x 6 1/2" x 6". The collective weight of this branding iron is 2lb 6oz.
