Included in this lot we have a bronze statue of Civil War two star generals by J J Star. The piece shows a pair of civil war era two star generals that seem to be in the midst of conversation. One of the generals is shown sitting on a wooden crate lighting a cigar with his uniform jacket open reveling the vest underneath. The second general is shown standing to the side, one hand pointing off into the distance the other resting on the seated mans shoulder. The figures show wonderful and intricate detail. The piece is set on a thick wooden base and is marked across the back. The back reads "1/25 JS" indicating that is was sculpted by artist J J Star and is one of only 25 made. The piece shows good condition overall. It measures approximately 16 1/2" tall by 12" wide and 10 1/2" deep.
