Featured in this lot is an U.S. Cavalry horse bit and leather headstall. The bit displays iron construction with brass medallions on each side, marked "US". The headstall shows black leather construction with brass buckles and hardware. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the headstall and some rust on the bit. The headstall measures 5 3/4" wide by 22" long.
