Featured for bidding in this lot is an excellent example of U.S. Military Cavalry saddle bags. The saddle bags are constructed of a rich brown leather, and utilize brass rigging, and rivets. Additionally, the bags are stamped on the flap closure "US", and have excellent contrast stitching. The bags show good condition, with soft supple leather, absent of any major cracking, intact straps, and buckles, and a beautiful patina to the brass fixtures.
