Featured in this lot we have a U.S. Military Cavalry leather saddle bags originating from the early 20th century. The saddle bags are constructed of a rich brown leather, and utilize brass rigging, and rivets. Additionally, the bags are stamped on the flap closure "US", and have excellent contrast stitching. The bags show good construction, with soft supple leather, absent of any major cracking, intact straps, and buckles. It shows good condition overall with some green oxidization on the brass.
