Matched pair of excellent condition U. S. Revolver Company hammerless, 5-shot .32 S&W caliber and .38 S&W caliber revolvers. These U. S. Revolver Co. Revolvers were actually manufactured by the famed Iver Johnson Arms Company around the turn of the last century. They were a fairly high quality revolver made to sell less expensively than the similar pocket revolvers of Colt or Smith & Wesson. The smaller revolver in .32 caliber with serial number 8337 sports a 3” barrel, excellent “U.S.” marked hard rubber grips with blued trigger guard and case hardened barrel latch. It retains nearly all the original nickel finish and deep blue. The bore is excellent and bright and overall the revolver functions correctly and appears to have seen little use. The top of the barrel is marked “U.S. REVOLVER CO. MADE IN USA.” The larger .38 caliber revolver with identical markings also retains nearly all the nickel finish with only some minor oxidation/peeling. This one has a 3 ¼” barrel, excellent “U.S.” embossed hard rubber grips. It also has a deep blue trigger guard and case hardened barrel latch. The serial number is 42500 and this revolver functions correctly and also has an excellent bright bore. Usually these small pocket revolvers are found in much-carried condition showing little finish and often not functioning correctly. This is an outstanding pair from a time when it was common for gentlemen and ladies to go discretely armed! The revolvers together weigh 1lbs 14oz. Serial numbers: 8337 & 42500. These firearms qualify as a Curio & Relic firearms, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
