Featured in this lot is this collector's box of UMC .38-45 Bullard Repeating Rifle solid head cartridges. The box of cartridges is its original packaging and includes a total of 20rds. The information top of the box reads as follows: U.M.C. - Twenty .38-45 Solid Head - Central Fire Cartridges - Manufactured by The Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A. The illustrated face side of the box shows a picture of the cartridge and reads as follows: For Bullard Repeating Rifle - 20 Cartridges - .38-45 Bullard - .38 Calibre 45Grs Powder 190Grs Bullet - Use Only U.M.C. No. 1 1/2 Primers in reloading these cartridges. The condition of this box of cartridges is preserved with some heavy wear to the original packaging and has been opened but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this box of ammunition is 2 1/2" x 5 1/8" x 1 1/8". The collective weight of this box of cartridges is 1lb.
