This typewriter shows iconic design and craftsmanship that was frequently seen from Underwood typewriters. The Underwood Typewriter Company was a manufacturer of typewriters headquartered in New York City, New York. Underwood produced what is considered the first widely successful, modern typewriter. This typewriter shows good overall condition; some of the buttons stick and its age can be seen in the slight oxidation adorning its frame. The measurements of this typewriter are 10" x 16” x 12".
