For your consideration are these Union Leader Cut Plug smoke and chew and Pedro Cut Plug smoking tobacco tin boxes, circa early 1900's. These are highly collectable pieces of American tobacco history. The Union Leader box shows a red background with an American eagle landing on a box of cigarettes. The Pedro box shows a yellow background with a Jack of spades and a floral decorated design on the back of it. The condition of these tin boxes is good, with some wear and dings consistent with age; there is oxidation consistent with the early 1900's. The measurements of these tobacco boxes are 5" x 8" x 5 1/4" for both boxes.
